Niveau de preuve : Preuves émergentes
Des recherches humaines et/ou animales existent et s’accumulent, mais la base de preuves n’est pas encore aussi étendue qu’un médicament approuvé.
Preuves humaines : Growing human trial base on NAD+ precursors and direct administration for metabolic and aging-biology endpoints, though optimal route/dose remains under study.
Preuves animales : Extensive rodent literature linking NAD+ decline to aging phenotypes.
Introduction et mécanisme d'action
Coenzyme studied for cellular-energy metabolism, DNA-repair signaling and aging-biology research.
Central redox coenzyme in mitochondrial energy production and a required cofactor for sirtuins and PARP enzymes involved in DNA repair; NAD+ levels decline with age, motivating research into supplementation or precursor loading.
Récepteurs/cibles : Not receptor-mediated — acts as an enzyme cofactor

Escalade et entretien : A dedicated weekly escalation and maintenance schedule specific to this peptide has not yet been published here — follow the dose range and frequency above, titrating conservatively from the low end, and consult a physician before adjusting.
|---|---|---|---|
| Standard Protocol | subcutaneous | 1× daily, subcutaneous | 75 mg |

Reconstitute with 2 mL bacteriostatic water
Bacteriostatic Water (BAC Water) is the only recommended diluent. Do not dilute with sterile water, normal saline, lidocaine, or any other solution unless explicitly specified by the manufacturer.
Guide de manipulation
Pratique générale de manipulation en laboratoire, citée à titre de référence — non une instruction personnalisée. Tout usage humain doit suivre l'avis d'un médecin agréé.
Wash hands and clean the injection site with an alcohol swab. Pinch a fold of skin and insert the needle at a 45–90° angle for standard subcutaneous injection (abdomen, thigh, or upper arm). Inject slowly, withdraw, and apply gentle pressure. Rotate injection sites to reduce irritation, and dispose of needles in an approved sharps container.
Conservation
Store lyophilized (powder) vials in a freezer at -20°C, protected from light. Once reconstituted with bacteriostatic water, refrigerate at 2–8°C and use within the timeframe recommended in your supplier documentation — typically 2–4 weeks.
Surveillance
Monitor for injection-site reactions and the side effects listed above. Stop use and consult a physician if severe or persistent reactions occur. This is a general monitoring guideline, not a personalized medical monitoring plan.
Effets secondaires
- Flushing
- Chest or abdominal tightness (particularly with rapid IV administration)
- Injection-site reaction
- Nausea
Contre-indications
- Pregnancy
- Known hypersensitivity
Interactions médicamenteuses
- Not well characterized in controlled human trials
Sécurité
- Rapid IV infusion associated with flushing, chest tightness and cramping in reported use
- Long-term optimal dosing not established
Optimal dosing, route and long-term outcomes remain under active study; most clinical benefit claims exceed current human evidence.

NAD+, Epitalon, SS-31 and MOTS-C are all studied under the broad "longevity/mitochondrial" umbrella but via different mechanisms — NAD+ is a metabolic coenzyme, Epitalon is a bioregulator peptide with circadian/telomerase research interest, and SS-31/MOTS-C act more directly on mitochondrial membrane and signaling biology. None has established human evidence for extending lifespan.
